DIRECTIONS TO GUNSTOCK RANCH (directly from their website)

Do not count on your GPS to get you to us on time.  We are in the ?country? and the GPS does not always account for the two lane highway.  Give yourself an extra 15 minutes from wherever you are to arrive on time.

If you are coming from the Windward side: We are located 2 miles north of the Polynesian Cultural Center.  Turn toward the mountains onto our private dirt road.

If you are coming from the North Shore: We are 1.3 miles south east of Kahuku High School. Turn toward the mountains on our private dirt road.

*Many of you have asked about rides from Honolulu.  We suggest getting on our facebook page?some have already posted about wanting to carpool!

As always, we have great prizes from local sponsors! We will award prizes to the top 3 overall Men and Women in both the half marathon and 5k.  We will also give a first place award to the first place runner in each age group.  Age groups are in 5 year increments?.20-24, 25-29, 30-34 etc.  As per XTERRA standards, your age group will be determined by your age on 12.31.13 this year.

The 5k Awards ceremony will take place at 7:45 a.m.
The Half Marathon Awards Ceremony will begin at about 9:15?or as soon as the majority of results have come in.

This year our race will be photographed by Hawaii Race Photos?so get your peace signs and Toyota Jumps ready!  After the race, you will be able to find your photos on facebook @HawaiiRacePhotos or at  Smile Pretty!

We?re teaming up with Athletepath this year to deliver results your way! Visit our event page at, select your race and, as soon as results are posted, Athletepath will send free result notifications directly to your phone via text or email. Plus, friends and family can get notifications too and congratulate you immediately!

Dr. Jake Simmons of Oahu Family chiropractic, one of our awesome sponsors, will be at the race this year until about 9:15.  He has a background in sports and treating athletes.  He is the chiropractor for BYUH athletics and Kahuku High School  He will be available to adjust athletes and provide some soft tissue and stretching techniques.
See you all at one of our packet pick ups and on Race Day!!
