Chicken and Black Bean Soup

This soup is my kids' new favorite--which is saying a lot because they are not soup fans. It is simple and fast and it is a great way to clear out the pantry too.

Dani's Almost from Scratch Chicken and Black Bean Soup
In a large pot combine and heat over medium heat:
2 cans Progresso Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup
1 can S&W petite diced tomatoes with bell pepper, and celery
1 can seasoned black beans
1 can corn
1 Tablespoon Taco Seasoning

When warmed through serve with a garnish of cheese and cilantro on top and a side of corn bread or tortilla chips. Serves 8.

Cost breakdown: I paid .25 per can of soup and .30 per can for the other three items.  The taco seasoning comes out to about .10 per Tablespoon.  Cilantro was cut from the garden--free--and the cheese varies depending on how much you garnish but I used about a quarter pound between all the servings for a cost of .50.  Grand total=$2.  per serving= 50 cents.
