We made a quick stop in St. Louis on our way to Nauvoo. It was hot, the Mississippi River was flooded, traffic was a nightmare and it is really, really hard to find RV parking in the middle of the city. But we did manage to get over to the St Louis arch and visitor center.
And I found these two great quotes at the visitor's center
"Today we are faced with the preeminent fact that, if civilization is to survive, we must cultivate the science of human relationships--the ability of all peoples, of all kinds, to live together and work together in the same world, at peace."
Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1945
"One man with courage makes a majority."
