Lots of snacks and breakfast items this week. Some other great deals you may be interested in: on Saturday and Sunday only Safeway has seedless grapes for 99 cents/lb. All week Saar's has an in-ad coupon for Peaches, Nectarines and Plums 99 cents/lb. Both are great deals but I am already over my $60 and have used up my leftover from last week--unless Alby's does those double coupons on Sunday, please, please, please!

Menu
This is what we are going to have on the menu using this $60 worth of groceries and the stockpile in my pantry and freezer from previous weeks and months of $60 shopping lists. Remember that one of my New Year's goals is to serve a meatless meal once a week, and we have three theme nights per week: Taco Tuesday, Pizza Friday, and Breakfast for dinner on Sundays.

Last week we had a few interuptions in our plans. On Saturday night Dave and I went out on a date and the kids ate leftovers. On Monday night Dave's mom had us over for dinner to celebrate his Coach of the Year award. And, last night for "Taco Tuesday" the kids wanted tamales instead of chimichangas. This means that I will take the unmade planned meals from last week's menu and insert them into this week's menu.

Wednesday- Vegetarian Chili, Cornbread, Coleslaw
Thursday-Baked Glazed Salmon, Baked Potatoes, Asparagus Spears
Friday-Pizza Night! Smoked Salmon, Cheese, Canadian Bacon
Saturday-Roast Chicken, potatoes and carrots, Ceasar Salad, Dinner Rolls
Sunday-Breakfast for dinner! Biscuits and Gravy
Monday-Family Birthday party, I'll bring a salad.
Tuesday-Taco Night! Bean and cheese Burritos, Spanish Rice, Salad
