Christmas re-cap

Isn't it wonderful when Christmas Eve arrives and all your planning and hard work come to fruition! After weeks of planning and decorating and cardwriting and baking and sewing and shopping and arranging and gift giving it is so nice to sit back, relax and be done.

Here are some pics of our holiday. Watch for a few of the handmade gifts I worked on this year: tutu's for Uncle Jared's four little girls, gift card wallets for Aunt Erin and Afton, zipping scripture cases for Anson and Tanner, a very big cupcake apron for Ella, crocodile soft toy for cousin Joseph. Again, we had a fantastic Christmas and were so happy to spend it with the family that was here in town (We missed you Jacob, Alli, Lauren, Brandon and Ashton!)

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with the Dooley family. We enjoyed lots of good food, games and conversation. The kids had a real hoot playing with the cousins and performing talents and doing the nativity reenactment. Of course there were presents for all too.

Christmas morning we spend at home opening gifts and playing together. The kids slept in until 7:30 this year--a Christmas morning record! Kirkham claims he was up at 5 and just lay there until everyone else got up.

After breakfast and clean up we made our way over to my parents house to spend the day with the Call family. Again lots of great food, presents, games, cousins, movies, etc. We had so much fun with family!

  1. My...you were up early posting, dear Dani. I have been up early getting ready for our Brazilian friends to arrive this afternoon. I am sure that they don't care if my house isn't perfect, but I want it as close to it as possible. I loved your pictures. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I like seeing your mom in the background of Tanner's picture...she's so beautiful! :)

    Love your blog!

Hi Friend! I know you have something very important to say. So, what do you think?
