Pinneapple Lime Velvet

In a bowl combine:
1 large package lime jello
1/3 c sugar
2 c. boiling water and stir until sugar mixture is dissolved.
Beat in :
6 oz cream cheese, softened
Stir in :
1 cup cold water, and small can of crushed, undrained pinneapple and place in refrigerator until soft set (1-2 hours).
Fold in:
8 oz tub of cool whip
3/4 c pecans, chopped (optional)

Return to refrigerator for 3 more hours to set.

I have substituted frozen berries and berry flavored jello, in place of pinneapple and lime jello, with great success! Very Yummy!
