So, my camera hasn't shown up. No snow pictures, no Christmas pictures. Ironically, now that Christmas is over I've got time to search high and low for the darn thing.
Last night I decided that I will spend the next 7 days sorting through boxes and bags set aside, emptying overflowing closets and cupboards, re-organizing shelves and bins. I will do all I can this week to hunt down that camera.
Today I started in the kitchen, dining room and front room. The camera is not on the shelves with the recipe books, in the pencil jars, or bill file. It is not under the sink or in the paper plates/cups/napkins cupboard, or on top of the china hutch. I didn't find it in the pots and pans cupboard or behind the oven either.
It wasn't under the foot deep pile of newspapers, behind the piano or inside the couch. Nor was it in the coat closet or the shoe & backpack cupboard. I did not find the camera today.
I did find: two missing keys, a spatula, a ladle, a set of tongs, a $20 rebate check, over 100 pieces of crayons, 3 dog leashes, a book and some spoons that belong to my mother in law, a shoe that has been missing for 6 months, some unsent Christmas cards from last year, some cub scout patches, and 26 cents in change.
Tomorrow I move on to the bedrooms; they may take me two days. We'll see what I find there. In the mean time please be on the look out for a palm size, 7 megapixel, silver Sony Cyber shot digital camera. The batteries are probably dead and the memory is full but it is wanted -- dead or alive!
